Steve Rhorer of Costa Mesa, CA captured the ISAGS 2010 Mid-Winter Championship at Kiawah Island Resort April 24 - May 1 over three wonderful courses at the South Carolina retreat. Rhorer opened with rounds of 77-78 at Turtle Point and Osprey Point respectively, but really pulled away with an outstanding round of 75 on the extremely difficult Ocean Course, host course of the 1991 Ryder Cup and 2012 PGA Championship! A final round 75 back at Turtle Point put the finishing
touches on a terrific week of golf with all four rounds in the 70’s. Todd Edgar of Toronto, Canada finished at the top of the Age 65+ Championship Division
on the strength of a final round 78 at Turtle Point.

Arlene McKitrick of Longboat Key, FL played wonderfully steady golf all week, leading the Ladies Championship Division with great scores that included a 79 at The Ocean Course. The Men’s Stableford Division was won by great play from Bill Crandall of Palm City, FL, and it was Bill Ikard of El Paso, TX, who accumulated more stableford points than anyone in the entire event in taking home the top prize among Super Seniors. Congratulations also to Ming-Chu Yeh (Ladies 3 Day Stableford) and Sallie Caty (Ladies 2 Day Stableford) who were tops in their respective Divisions.
